I screwed up my first ceramic coating attempt with the graphene ceramic coating, can I fix it with another layer?

CarelessRookie

Question

Guys, I screwed up.  This is the first time I DIY the ceramic coating.  Long story short: I didn’t wipe off the coating quickly enough but tried my best to scrub it with microfiber towel to “feel” smooth, and I didn’t see the problems outside (it’s a white car in a dark cloudy day). Then I let it sit in the garage for 2 days. Today I checked it. There are streaks everywhere😭

It will be quite devastating to polish the whole damn car. Can I just apply another layer of the ceramic coating on top of this mess to fix the problem?

Thank you Guz and Trap. I have ordered a polisher (Griot’s G9)and the Adam’s white foam pad.

This will be the second time I use an orbit polisher. My first try was when I was in college and it didn’t end well. Do you have any tips for polishing uneven ceramic coating?

Thanks!!
