I have a TorqX DA polisher (8mm throw I think) that I've drawn a line with a sharpie on the backing plate. I'm wondering how important it is to make sure this line stays invisible(meaning its spinning) while compounding/polishing. I've noticed I can see the line sometimes when I apply even the slightest pressure or its not perfectly flat on the panel. I guess I'm just trying to get an idea of how much the cut or polish is being diminished when its not spinning properly? Do I need to redo spots where it seems like it got stuck? Use more compound/polish to avoid this? This is my first time using a DA which I run it at about speed 4(out of 6)...suggestions....tips?

Hi All,
I have a TorqX DA polisher (8mm throw I think) that I've drawn a line with a sharpie on the backing plate. Cheers!
