RUPES LHR15 won’t turn on

I decided it was time to give my 24 Tundra some loving today but my RUPES LHR15 decided not to work😡

I purchased it back in 2016 but only used it a handful of time since. Unfortunately she just didn’t turn on, so I ended up dusting off my trusty PC machine that I've had purchased back in 08. 

Was their issues with them back in the day and if so, what was the issues?

Sounds like it is time to replace the brushes.  The other option is you can send it into Rupes and they will repair it.  I believe it is about $90 to send it in. They cover shipping for it at least they did for me.

It sucks when your rules polisher won't turn on after a long period of non-use. Typically, items like this that are in like new condition and cease working are because of an electrical issue-- whether the switch or the cord. As mentioned above, it's also possible that debris has invaded the motor. 

We use rupes at my company, The Detail Maestro in Portland and we would opt to send this into to have it worked on. 

 

We also had issue with casing material falling apart
