Hi Tad, thanks for joining the forum!

 

I'll agree with the suggestions above, and I'll also recommend our Waterless Wash as a pre-treat for bugs when washing. I'll spray it onto the bugs and let it soak for a few minutes. This usually lets the bug guts soften up some and allows them to wash off more easily :)

Welcome to the forum Tad. I also suggest using waterless wash before washing down the truck. Liberally spray the area with bugs using the stream setting, and let it sit while you prepare your washing materials. Itll make it a lot easier to remove them.

Give APC and the microfiber sponge a try, clay has worked well for me. 

A weekly maintenance wash is also imperative to keep it from getting too dirty. 

 

I used Brilliant Glaze, then paint sealant, and then American and bugs and dropping and everything else just falls off the car at this point.
