blasius01
Anyone know if i can use brilliant glaze on new paint? Just got my hood redone and he told me not to wax or seal it for 30 days. He said that brilliant glaze should be ok if it doesn't have any sealing properties to it. Any know? Thanks much
0 mc2hill
That is a good question. It contains some solvents, and it does some minor filling. But it does not last very long, so for that reason, I would say you should be OK with it, but hopefully the Shine Doc will chime in to be certain. 0 blasius01
Cool thanks. I'll hold out until Shine Doc chimes in. It's soooooo hard not to put all kinds of Adamsy goodness on it
0 TheBurninator
IIRC Brilliant Glaze contains some wax as fillers...
0 Team Adam's
I have used BG on fresh paint in the past without issue, but I'm still a big advocate of following your painters advice since there are so many variables at work. At least give it a 30 day cure time before you go laying anytihng down, jsut to be safe. Ricky Bobby
