Long handle wheel brush

Was thinking today and can this brush also be used to clean rubber floor mats?   I know there is the cockpit brush that would be better suited for this probably but didnt know if there is any harm in using the wheel brush.  Thanks for the help!

Shouldn't be an issue at all.  I usually use the Fender Brush. 

 

I wouldn't clean floor mats and wheels though with the same brush.  Never know what kind of pieces of grit/asphalt might get stuck in it.

 

Thats why I use the Fender brush bc I'm only cleaning tires/wheel wells with it.

I've used both before. The fender brush seems to better clean rubber mats. The bristles aren't stiff enough on the tire brush IMO.

The wheel brush would be wasted on that kind of work... you need something with more scrubbing power, plus you don't want to use a brush that will be in contact with your wheels picking up sand and other nastiness from your floor matts then scratching your wheels.

 

I use the tire scrub brush or the fender brush on mine.
