Fierce5
Hi guys, I plasti dipped the fenders of my bike and the front fender has some scuff marks as I accidentally bumped it with my shoes, any idea on how to remove those? Also, how can I protect the surface, would Buttery Wax works? Thanks
0 Ralfy
Try some vrt. If not you gotta respray it. Plastidip is not a paint surface that can be corrected. Buttery is a no go on it also. IUC, in and out and SVRT are pretty much all you can put on it. Good luck
0 GXPaycheck
Dipyourcar.com has some good repair threads. If you have a small area, it would be easier to peel and re-dip.
0 Fierce5
Thanks guys. It's so annoying to having to uninstall the fenders and redip them every time there is a scuff as it technically didn't remove or break the plasti dip. I'll try VRT and see how that works. 0 Ralfy
If the vrt doesn't help, maybe try and spray some more dip and try and blend it in.

0 SYMAWD
You can't remove a scuff without respraying. However, you can use something like xylene to reliquify it and smooth it out so you don't need to peel it when you respray. People do use a spray wax on it which helps prevent scuffing. You can get more info at the dipyourcar.com forums.
