LS1 GTO
My first post!! I've always been meticulous about my vehicles, but I've never dove into polishing until this weekend after I was introduced to Adam's products on another forum. On with the good stuff. My GTO is a 04 with 110K miles, and shows every bit of it as you can tell by the first pictures so it needed some heavy TLC. My process: polishes were applied with a PC 7424 (non xp) - 1st wash was with a 50/50 mix of Adam's car shampoo and APC - 2nd wash was just with the shampoo - Clay bar (could've spent more time here, but it was good enough for me) - Paint correction polish with microfiber pad - Paint finishing polish with foam pad - 1 coat of glaze - 2 coats of Adam's Americana Before: Products: After: I'm extremely happy with the results, especially considering I've never machine polished before. All said and done, it took me about 9 hours but it was well worth the sore back/arm in the end. I could have spent more time with the clay and the polisher, but I do drive the car and wasn't going for absolute perfection. There are chips and some deep scratches so 90% perfect is what I was looking for and I think I got it. Enjoy! Redbeard

LS1 GTO
Looks good! Are those G8 wheels? Good eye! I've only had them for a couple weeks. I had some abused stock chrome 17's before these so its night and day difference.

LS1 GTO
Yea I thought that they were G8 19's.....I didn't know that they would fit though. They aren't a straight swap. The hubs need to be bored to fit the GTO, but that was done by the guy I bought them from. Thanks for the compliments everyone!

LS1 GTO
the wheels look good.. so you just bored the centers on the wheels what about rolling the fenders? I took the easy/temporary way out. I keep 10-12lbs in my drag bags now instead of 5-6. I'm planning on rolling my rear fenders this winter when she's in hibernation.

ksell87
Looks very good. Love the wheels on her. You can tell in the before pictures that it was slightly dull and now it is a much deeper red color. Nice job

IrishCurse
Someone split the exhaust on the 04? Was that you or the new owner Nick?
Team Adam's
Someone split the exhaust on the 04? Was that you or the new owner Nick? That was yours truly, along with the rest of the mods. All the new owner did was put the wheels on it as soon as he got it from me. Edited July 29, 2013 by Nick@Adams THE Mook

markpetersonii
Looks good! Like I said on the other forum, the G8 wheels look odd to me haha Just because I see them on my G8 and then seeing them on a GTO is strange to me. haha
