Deep cleaning weather strip and soft seals

Hi,

 

Just started using Adams products and I'm loving it so far. I got a sample kit and have already ordered a gallon refill of the APC and will be ordering some other stuff soon.

 

On to my question - what is the best way to clean weather strip and other soft rubber seals? My truck is relatively new, and there is some white staining on the interior seals around the top of the door frame. It's pretty stubborn.

Spray some APC on a utility towel and scrub. Then follow up with SVRT to condition and protect.

Another newb question.... When I used Super VRT on the window seals, it left noticable marks on the glass and the door frames.  I wasn't able to buff it off.  So, does it make sense to VRT everything BEFORE the wash/polish/wax?

Were you just dry buffing it off your using glass cleaner/waterless wash/detail spray. Any of those should help it wipe right off

I was just buffing.  I did use the glass cleaner and that worked on the windows.  I'll try the DS.
