PirateGoat
Been awhile since i have been on the forum, things have been busy. Here are pictures from the first day she was at home, January 2nd, 2013 with 30 miles. I had Friday off of work and the little one was at the sitter so it allowed me to spend some time on the truck. Here is the reasons I needed the truck Hannah and Gloria Grace Trading the GTO also gave me the motivation to fix my Camaro which had been parked for nearly 3 years. After a new Opti-Spark, she fired right up and was ready to haul home. Sorry for the long post scootertrash19

PirateGoat
Thanks guys, it was hard to get rid of the GTO but it made it a little bit easier knowing I can drive my Camaro whenever I get the need for for power under my right foot. However I do find myself pulling up to stop lights that merge right after all the time and think to myself that in the GTO i would be in the other lane and beat everyone off the line but wont try it in the truck because of the gas. Redbeard
Admit it, you just wanted a hauler to match the Camaro.
PirateGoat
Admit it, you just wanted a hauler to match the Camaro. You got me. The only other color I wanted was the brighter blue. I don't car for white or silver since every other car on the road is white or silver and I don't like red. I wanted black but didn't think I was ready to keep a black truck clean and swirl free. That picture of the truck and Camaro on the trailer reminds me of the Tonka trucks you used to play with as kids now its the same thing with bigger toys. I just got one and it fits but real tight. Curious to know what others are using. Told ya that was off topic! Diggerdan11
Nice Truck. Too bad you had to trade in your GTO, but they are not very practical family cars
PirateGoat
I know this is well off topic, but what car seat are you using for your daughter in the new truck? I just got one and it fits but real tight. Curious to know what others are using. Told ya that was off topic! We have used the Britex B-Safe (http://www.britaxusa.com/car-seats/b-safe) since day one and had a base for it in bothe my wifes Vue and in the GTO then moved it to the truck when we traded. Just last weekend we switched to using two separate car seats, one in each vehicle. I still have the Britex B-Safe in my truck and we put the Britex Boulevard 70-G3 )http://www.britaxusa.com/car-seats/boulevard-70-g3) in my wifes Vue since it gave us a little more leg room there. I have them on the passenger side in both vehicles and have the front passenger seat pushed back to where it is almost touching the car seat to give the most leg room. We have had no issues with leg room in the truck, I'm only 5'10 and my wife is 5'4 so w2e are both on the shorter end of the scale. Congrats on the truck purchase as I just did the same thing myself. Can't wait till I can get her cleaned up like yours. Yea it was defiantly a bitter sweet move, I was at the point where I was "bored" with the GTO and had the "new" car bug but still hated to see her go. What did you get? JBlack151
Thanks for the info on the car seat. Funny you mentioned the Britax B-Safe. We just had that one delivered with our Britax B-Agile stroller today. But we planned on using that one for my wife's Subaru. I'll have to test it out in mine as well. I bought the Graco 3 in 1 seat and it's gigantic but still barely fits. Thanks again and I hope you're enjoying the new truck. I've had mine for almost 6 months and love it.
