JBlack151
I haven't had the time to actually document a lot of my recent details, but I have some cool things in store soon for you all so I figured I would get freshened up sharing this write up. Last August I did a full detail on this MB S550. The car is never in a garage and required a lot of work the first time around here in the original write up. http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/cars/19552.htm Well I had the pleasure of revisiting the S550 again a few days ago. I will mention the car was not washed at all since last August and remained outside the entire time with only rain and snow giving it the closest thing to a wash. The owner does not drive it too often so it was a great opportunity to see how it held up. Quick Sealant was applied first time around. As the wash process began the sheeting was still holding very strong. Kudos to Adam's Quick Sealant powering thru all sorts of weather conditions to keep this protection lasting. Of course the wheels were a different story as we all know with German vehicles and their brake dust madness. Thankfully DWC was around this time to take care of that. I didn't need to do too much on the correction side for the paint. Mainly just went over with a polish. Here's a list of the products used. Sorry, but there were a few things non Adam's I have in my line up while I wait for them to release their new products. I've been playing with a lot of different pads on the Rupes as well so those were not Adam's either. I almost didn't put this up, but since more than 90% of everything was Adam's I figured I would share. This was also perfect vehicle to play with the new TID. After using it on my truck I couldn't wait to use it on my clients. He made me aware the next day while working on another detail for him that he couldn't get over the fresh smell. - Kranzle Pressure Washer - **** Foamer Canon - Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner - Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner - Adam’s Fender Brush - Adam's Deep Clean Tire Scrub Brush - Adam’s Boulder Blonde Boars Hair Wheel Brush - Adam’s Trim & Lug Nut Brush - Adam’s Wheel Woolies Wheel Cleaning Tools - Adam’s Car Wash Shampoo (with All Purpose Cleaner for strip wash) - Adam’s Double Car Wash Grit Guard Bucket Kit & Caddy - Adam’s Professional Car Wash Pad - Adam’s Ultimate Merino Wool Car Wash Mitt - Adam’s Great White Microfiber Drying Towel - Adam’s Air Force Master Blaster Dryer by MetroVac - Adam’s Invisible Undercarriage Spray Dressing - Adam’s Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing - Adam’s Hex-Grip Pro Tire Dressing Applicator - Adam’s Edgeless Microfiber Utility Towels - Adam’s VRT Super Block Dressing Applicator - Adam’s In & Out Spray - Adam’s Detailing Clay Bar - Adam’s Detail Spray - Adam’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner - Adam’s Carpet Cleaning Brush - Adam's Total Interior Detailer - Adam’s Glass Cleaner - Adam’s Glass Cleaning Towel - Adam's Glass Sealant - Rupes Bigfoot LHR21ES Random Orbital Polisher - ******** Super Finish Polish - **** & ***** Microfiber Finishing Pad - IPA - Adam’s Quick Sealant - Adam’s Americana Premium Wax & Glaze Applicator - Adam's Made In The USA Mints (I have so many of these things I now leave them somewhere on the interior for my clients to enjoy). Mongosg8
Another amazing job John! The DWC really attacked those wheels ..love that product. What you done to the paint is amazing.. it looks like it came off of the showroom floor.
JBlack151
Thanks guys. I'll give this guy some slack about neglecting this car. He has about 18 vehicles in total and this one along with his 2500 Silverado do not get garaged since there simply isn't any room. From when I detailed this Benz last summer till last week only had about 1k miles added to it. So really it just sat outside. I was just amazed at how bad the wheels got with being driven so little. With the new baby arriving soon I've held off acquiring new clients and am only focusing on working with a few of my current clients, with this one being my best client. Did nobody catch the cool project I'm slowly working on in the the background in one of the pics?

And what's the couple of corvettes I see in the roof shot? Your clients I suppose? Now I see why you want to keep him!
JBlack151
Yes the Good Humor truck is project I'm slowly putting together for a detail with a write up to follow once completed. As for the Corvettes, he has a good collection in that garage. He keeps all his Bel Airs and Impalas in another garage of his. I've detailed almost all of them if you look thru my past write ups.
