Well I'm finally done with all the buffing and sealant. Took me a little over a month!

I used the halogens tonight and it shows EVERYTHING. So I managed to get all the swirls out, but noticed the marks that resembled swirl marks but were DEEP. They were like swirl scratches. Never seen anything like it. I tried not to let my OCD get the best of me, but one panel I just couldn't let go. So I busted out the harshest compound I have. Feels like sandpaper. This is what it looked like after I buffed it with the stuff.

It managed to get the stuff off easily.

You can see some of these scratches I'm talking about. It looked MUCH worse in person. the pics don't do it justice. This was after SHR and FMP. Didn't hardly dull it at all.

Yeah there we go, much better!

You can see more scratches here. This panel wasn't nearly as bad, and if I chased this stuff I'd be spending another 100 hours buffing this thing out. It doesn't need to be show car good. Once again if this was a customer car I'd make it perfect. This was also after SHR and FMP. Swirls are now gone, but these scratches still remain. This thing must have been washed with sandpaper.......when it was actually washed.....10 years ago.lol I had to get JUST at the right angle to even see this stuff.

All that's left now is final wash/wax, polish the rest of the chrome( bumpers, mirrors), clean the windows, treat all trim, final vacuum.

Well I'm finally done. Did the final wash/wax today, polished the rest of the chrome, cleaned the windows, and treated all exterior plastics.

Kind of a mess of a day so you can't really see how good she really looks.

50/50 of treated and untreated.

Finally done! I didn't go a very good job of keeping track of how many hours I spent, but I'd guess between 75-100.

Paint transfer on the bumper from my mom likely backing into something. See the green and white lines.

Hit the wipers with a quick coat of paint. Then it got super foggy a misty. No idea how they'll turn out as it's dark now. Guess I'll see in the morning.
