Beemer
It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. -- A. Redbeard
I'm glad I'm not a betting man, because I'd have never guessed the Giants sweeping the Tigers.

Bluezey
^^ Me too Ryan ..surprised the crap out of me considering how the Tigers played the Yankees. I guess they had too much idle time between series. Congrats to the Giants and their fans. Bluezey:pc:
Team Adam's
That series certainly didn't pan out the way I thought it would... Tigers just didn't have it at all... and Miggy with the K looking to end it just kind of underlined that. Now to feverishly follow every 'hot stove' report about offseason moves until spring.
