Car & Driver teaches you "how to polish like a pro"

I watch this show called "Wheel Dealers" and on the older episodes they call it "mopping" and they use a foam pad, and rotary, some polish and dip the pad in a bucket before starting in on the paint. Of course it's all swirled to the moon, but it does work for what they are wanting.

I do like that show....but not for the detailing portions. And in the older episodes, they use all kinds of bizarre English terms...I guess its their "slang."

Like 'boot' and 'bonnet', or other stuff?

No, no...weirder than that. I don't even remember what they were. They weren't car or tool terms (like "spanners" for "wrenches"). I just know that when they said it, I was like "HUH?"
