Kingsford
I want to get Ventvisors for my Colorado, I've had them on all of my trucks. I just dont know what kind to get.... In channel or regular (sticks on paint above window) What do you guys think?
Chewy
Since you asked... I think unless you're a smoker, that they take away from the looks of the vehicle. DO NOT use the ones that go on the outside. I've seen them remove paint. Sent from the past using special algorithms and data nodes!
don
I just removed thye regular black ventvisors and installed in channel chrome. I have had regular on all my trucks and suv's. I like the in channel a lot better. Just my .2 cents.
BrianT
My dad had the ones that go inside the channel and when we took the out the upper part of the window is scratched to hell!
02Xtreme07ss
In-Channel is the only way to go. I'd also recommend getting them from Weathertech and not AVS. The Weathertech visors are a much heavier and higher quality acrylic than the thin and easily damaged AVS pieces. I can't tell you how many AVS visors I've seen shatter from being hit by rocks or debris while driving. It will take a lot more than a pebble to shatter a visor from Weathertech. Yes, they are more expensive, but they will last longer and look better than the AVS units.
