To be close to 30 yrs old, I think it still looks pretty damn good. Just a wash then a coat of Buttery Wax. And of course all the appropriate trim and tire dressings. I wouldnt have been surprised to have read that it had 450k on it. yup they go forever without a doubt. my grandpa got his in 1983 new. he had a 450SL convt; and a 450SEL 1980 I believe and both were stolen in brooklyn. my mom had a 80 firebird with the 5L 305 I believe and my aunt had a 79 porsche 924 (the one im trying to sell still) and they were in the garage...
