What have you learned?

We all have to start somewhere... and we all make mistakes along the way. Whats the first thing you learned after joining the forum or watching the videos that you were doing wrong when detailing?

Hi, I'm David, and I have OCD.

 

I learned that there is much more to detailing than just keeping your car washed and vacuuming the interior. Trim work, weel barrels, undercarriage, swirls, etc. Keeping the "details" of the car clean is what seperates us from the average Joe.

haha, nothing major, just makes it easier when you have the right tools and can ask questions along the way. But If I had to answer it, probably how to use the pc. Also helped to fine tune the basic carwash!

Not paying someone to do it all... lol

 

Pretty much everything I did was wrong.

 

Being here taught me an awful lot and I learn everyday.

 

Biggest thing... I was using inferior products.
