You used up all your Americana.

Great guess! No, I'll probably make it through July before reorder time arrives. Here's hoping for a great Independence Day Sale.

BTW: you're on the right track.

I spent most of the first half of Saturday getting the boat ready for the summer and then put it in.

Nothing more than WW, MSS, SVRT and a little APC here and there.

Side note: The Explorer Sport is an amazing tow vehicle. Power on reserve!!!

How's the flooding by you? I hope you're staying dry.

Worked 11.5 hours then come home and tore apart the wife's center console on her charger to get at the park interlock.  Fun stuff.  Those of you that have one, if you find it not going out of park this is the reason why.

Did you replace any parts? What was the solution? My wifes Chevy Epica is doing the same thing!!

Yes, I replaced the pink thing in the picture with a metal one in the below link.

http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/DOR6/924706/06695.oap?year=2006&make=Dodge&model=Charger&vi=1431858&ck=Search_park+interlock_1431858_-1&keyword=park+interlock

What year is your car?  I did some quick looking and found that for you it could be anything from a fuse, brake pedal solenoid, to key solenoid.  I would go to the dealer and ask them what they think it may be.  I'am sure they have probably seen the issue before and would know what it is.  In my instance it is a common problem with the Chargers and also affects other models and years.  The OE part is plastic and the hook where the spring is attached to eventually busts off.

YES! I am fine, the red deer river is really high since the dam had to be relieved so the dog park is probably partially under water and we can't go there. The poor town of high river is 80% destroyed, Calgary is also going to take awhile to fix, and no road trips to the mountains for awhile either :( my husband had to go to Calgary last night in the 45 ton picker to drop generators off in down town Calgary ( closed) and needed to be escorted in

Chris, I know your neighborhood isn't hidden away in the woods. Ha! I'm assuming you store it elsewhere?

I went to look at the 67 Camaro. I'll upload pics if my phone ever sends the pics to my email

Our family has a lake house on Spoon Lake in Dahinda IL.  We go there nearly every weekend and chillax! Not a lot of chillaxin going on this past weekend, and this coming weekend I have to work!  We're going live on our new ERP on Monday.

My G8 got bombed by birds this morning so at lunch I hosed it off under cloudy skies. Well 5 minutes later the sun came out and stayed out. After work I two bucket washed her and gave her a Detail Spray wipe down. I may have a half dozen water spots left so in the morning I'll clay them off and touch up the spots with AQS.

BTW: AQS in the barrels of the wheels is one of the smartest detail oriented things I've ever done.

Here's hoping the double/triple post gremlin is gone. Crossing fingers.

Let the family sleep in today, so I snuck out and went fishing. I hit one of the retention ponds in an empty abandoned neighborhood. 1 dink an 7 12" or larger on dark green or dark blue Tiki sticks rigged weightless. Fishing rod is a 6' light action Falcon, made in the good ole' USA, check 'em out.

My mom is stopping by today so I'll give her old Volvo a bath and wax.

Well I debadged my Truck and Subaru in the 95 degree heat

The Subaru was super easy, the Truck not so much. I have done quite a few before and this by war was the hardest.

Well As i was polishing it up I noticed that there were a bunch of bubbles in the paint and a bunch small chips where the paint was missing. Im not sure what happened. IDK if thats what it looked like under the trim, or if I got it too hot with the heat gun? Either way i need to do something to fix it.

I did not finish removing the door trim on the other side because I could always have the trim put back on which would cover up the bubbles and missing paint, but of course would not keep it from getting worse. I could also have the doors re-painted, or Im also thinking about having my rocker panels rhino lined. i will get some pricing options tomorrow.

Here are the bubbles:

MSS is seriously underrated here. i applied a coat to the truck after i was done detailing it on Friday, we had a major dust storm yesterday morning, i got the blaster sidekick out and blew the dust off, and it was clean as a whistle again! no water needed

Up at 4:30am and out the door fishing the local ponds. Seven largemouth bass in two hours but got chased home by rain and a rumble of thunder. After shower and breakfast we took the twins to the pediatrician for kindergarten physicals. My goodness, where has the time gone?

They won't have it ready for pickup until then.  NOT surprising and it's just adding insult to injury...  5 month wait for a truck made 7 hours from my house.

This afternoon I went to BassPro Shops with the family and my older brother. Mama and the girls went and looked at the aquarium while we stocked up on Zoom Flukes, Tiki Stiks and assorted hooks. We had lunch there then dealt with expressway traffic...which I hate . After we got home I was in need of some Zen so I washed and Detail Sprayed both vehicles. I found my inner peace in the driveway then the garage.
