  1. Very helpful! Thanks. It looks like I'll be perfectly fine with the tradition ceramic SiO2 maintenance products I have along with the Adams Blue Shampoo.
  2. So it would be fair to say that Graphene and SiO2, while different, are part of the same family and can work together on a car?
  3. I'm planning on having my wife's Mazda CX-90 SUV paint corrected and the coated with Adams Graphene Coating (in the bottle, not the spray). I have amassed a few maintenance products that are not in the Adam's Polishes family and are marketed as maintenance toppers for SiO2 coatings; I want to make sure that they "play nice" with a graphene based coatings. Also, as far as the weekly maintenance washes, does the regular Adams blue shampoo work well with the Graphene Coating? I just bought a gallon of it so I certainly hope so!
  4. Hey, what's up?! Gosh, I've been through a handful of cars that I've bought/traded. Currently, my wife drives a new Mazda CX-90 and I drive a new Mazda 3 Hatchback with the manual. Both are Platinum Quartz in color which is the most forgiving color I've ever owned.
  5. Hello, all. I first became aware of Adams way back in 2012 and amassed quite a collection from a local Adams detailer/distributor for a few years. Life happened and I moved across 2 different states with some career changes and I handed most of my car care regiment over to other brand professional detailers; no issues with them as most did really good work, but I just didn't have time or the place to really manage detailing myself. Fast forward to the last week and circumstances/location have finally worked out where I can start getting back to the self therapy of 2 bucket washes myself. This meant I had to start from Square One as I only had a collection of car care products for the interior of our vehicles. As I've been out of the exterior detailing game for a number of years it was nice to see some old staples, still quite affordably priced (at least compared to some of the other brands I had used for years), here at Adams. Thankfully I was able to get in on the 20% off/BOGO sale and with a few hundred dollars build out a very nice collection including buckets, mitts, towels, and almost all of the chemicals I need. I saw a familiar faces/names here while reading so I'm happy to be back and look forward to learning/contributing where I can.....again.
  6. Finally had some success with Leather Conditioner recently using this method. Put on some of the black latex style gloves and applied two pumps of Leather Cleaner to the seats with my (gloved) hands. Rubbed it in for a solid 5 minutes, let dry, wiped down, and repeated the process two more times. Finally got the seats streak free and fully protected after about an hour.
  7. I'd like to keep it all together for the time being. Sorry.
  8. (2) empty Adams gallon jugs, (1) empty Adams 16oz bottle, (1) gallon jug pump dispenser, (1) unused/new Red glazing hex applicator, and (1) usused/new Black tire dressing hex applicator. I only ask for whatever the shipping cost is.
  9. Interesting..... I'll re-clean the seats the L&I Cleaner to start with a blank slate and then do several coats of Leather Conditioner allowing it to soak in for a uniform finish.
  10. Interesting. I was always told to apply it sparingly. This weekend I'll have to try the more is better method.
  11. I struggled with that the Leather Conditioner seeming rather blotchy and found that if you really spend some time buffing off any high spots or really the whole area in general after the conditioner has soaked in is the trick. I spend about 5-6 minutes buffing off a single seat to really make sure there is zero blotchiness.
  12. Sorry I never updated this thread! I actually went, almost off the cuff, with a Chevrolet Cruze Turbo Diesel. The price was irresistible with the 15% event and the color and fuel economy won me over.
  13. I'm looking to buy a gently used and loved Cyclo polisher and would definitely prefer the Adams branded red one but will consider any that is the current generation (Cyclo Pro 5 I think). Comment or PM me.
  14. +10000000000000. The suggestion of selling blank labels not already stuck on the bottle is that they are infinitely easier to write on, especially if you are extremely OCD like I assume most of us and certainly I am.
  15. I have a number of empty Adams 16oz spray bottles and would love to utilize them for different Adams liquids than they originally came with so how about selling the Adams bottle labels that are blank so you can write on them whats in the bottle. I'd prefer them not attached to the bottle as they're easy to write on unattached and then to apply to the bottle. Thoughts?
  16. I seem to remember having a conversation with Dylan about this last summer when I was trying to decide which MTM cannon to buy (I have a 1600 psi Greenworks PW from Lowes). I believe he said it is merely marketing to say there is a difference between the two and MTM only makes one model directly.
  17. ^ The Adams Foam Gun is for non-pressurzied garden hose situations, the MTM is for pressure washers that operate via gas or electric.
  18. I had Xpel PPF put on the front bumper and side mirror caps of my 2015 Camry. Until recently, I was driving the car 3-4K a month for work and have noticed only a tiny fraction of a pinkie nail gouch from where a large rack bounced up from a semi and clunked it. Of all the vehicle stuff I've spent money on in my life, Xpel PPF ranks up there as the best. No complaints and my installer (Clear Auto Bra in St. Louis, MO) did it PERFECTLY, I can only see it when I'm literally 6-8" from the front bumper and the car is clean and I'm TRYING to see it. I can't recommend it enough.
  19. Hey there, I have a once used (excellent condition) 9" by 9" car wash synthetic wool pad (Adams brand of course) that I would trade you for your Buttery Wax.
  20. I've decided to use these products for various uses around the house too so they're no longer for sale. Thanks for the interest everyone!
  21. I'm in support of phasing out the white MF pads. I've never had ideal results on any of the paint I've worked with when finishing down with them; they always leave a bit of haze that was frustrating. Full disclosure: I really don't care to work with MF pads at all unless the paint is truly hammered and you're starting a saw session on it, for me, foam is my go to 90-95% of the time.
  22. Obviously those are magical gallons since they defy gravity! lol
