  1. The Sampler Kit is a great way to start, and the Interior Kit is a good addition so you can cover both the outside and inside of your vehicle.
  2. I've found that it lasts through quite a few rain showers, you just need to give it time to "soak in" like the others have said, and you'll be all set
  3. I heard they were thinking of dumping Saturn and Saab among others http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/daily-news/081201-Auto-Bailout-GM-May-Axe-Pontiac-Hummer-Saturn-and-Saab/
  4. InterfaceLIFT has over 1,600 high-resolution (regular and widescreen, up to 2560x1600) wallpapers for your computer. Most are photographs of amazing detail and/or distance, and others are computer-generated designs. So if you're looking to spruce up your computer this is the place to do it. I end up changing my wallpaper every week because of this site.
  5. This was from a show this past July They even gave out an award for best vanity plate and this did not win
  6. Nope, but I'm glad you posted this topic because I thought I was the only one too
  7. Same here, I've moved everything inside for the winter. Better safe than sorry.
  8. This stuff works amazingly. Right after I put new carpet in my car I stained it when putting the seats back in, huge black mark about the side of a bottle cap. You can't even tell it was there after using this carpet cleaner. Just spray it on, wait 30 seconds, rub it with your fingers, and blot it off with a towel. Good as new.
  9. Damn Bill, I should get all of my prescriptions from you
  10. Wow I thought I was bad but you guys put me to shame. The most I do is taking off the license plates before starting the wash and putting them back on when the entire exterior is done (lots of dirt gets trapped behind there); and jacking the car up about 3 feet all around for the detail so I can get behind the wheels easier, do the tires evenly, and not break my back on the lower half (this part is for the vette only). Also while it's jacked up I put the car in neutral and rotate the wheels so the logos on the centercaps are all facing the same direction.
  11. I got a buddy with an 82CE, those wheels are a pain to clean. I'm guessing you're the original owner? nice car
  12. I love the expression on people's faces when I do the plastic bag test on their car "is your car clean?" yep "bet you it's not" As Jason said it also works amazingly on clearcoated wheels. BTW nice new smiley
  13. Yeah I found that spraying the undercarriage spray on a towel and then wiping the wheel wells with it helps it apply evenly
  14. That is an awesome two-tone setup you got there. Not overdone, and a good balance of contrast
  15. alright..finally getting some more CT people in on the fun what the h happened to your car... is that sawdust?
  16. they're all busy being fitted for coffee can mufflers
  17. oh my gosh I don't even buy paper towels anymore
  18. That first pic is sweet with the sun shining off the tires like that
  19. Would this work on unpolished metals? Things I'm looking to shine up a bit: stock steel mufflers, control arms, metal tubing for a/c unit (under the hood). I tried the Spray Glaze on my exhaust pipes and it just cleaned them up a little, no big improvement. What's the best way to tackle this and what kind of results should I expect? I know stock steel isn't the easiest to polish
  20. I use version CS2. I don't know how much it costs because I acquired it through other means If you have any younger relatives that are computer savvy they could probably get you a copy too. note: I don't condone piracy, only saving money
