Green Wheel Cleaner - Video Review

Cyclone

Question

I received my first bottle of GWC last week and have been anxious to try it out.

Last Saturday my truck was completely detailed. I drove it about 575 miles this past week. 455 miles was for work, which is basically about 6 hours each day of stop and go, stop and go. So needless to say my brakes have quite a bit of use day to day. (Yes I use my truck for work, it sucks I know)

Anyways the video will explain it all and show you my results.

Hope you enjoy!!!

** Edit **

I would like to add that my video results conflict with the following statement about the GWC :help:

Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner is not a spray-on, hose-off cleaner. Our GREEN Wheel Cleaner requires agitation with a brush, sponge or wash mitt to break the initial bond between the dirt and the wheel. Spray-on, hose-off type wheel cleaners are harsh, acid based cleaners that damage wheels over time. Adam's GREEN Wheel Cleaner will never harm your wheels or the environment!

:bow::bow::bow: Sweet Thank you Adam!!! I have a feeling it will go towards a gallon of GWC

Great results. How long did you let it soak in for?

The video is in real time... The part between when I sprayed it on and got the hose was maybe 15 - 20 seconds, I just did not want to leave the video with 20 seconds of dead time. It was long enough for me to walk about 20 feet, grab the hose and turn the water on.

I have one of those Mr Clean Auto wash gadgets that I sometimes use on the motorcycle. This weekend I was doing the engine & undercarriage on our 1965 El Camino and thought I'd try the Mr. Clean using GWC in the soap side. With the car on jack stands, the wheels pulled and the hood open I got to it. It actually worked pretty good, supplying me GWC under pressure and let me rise clean. Just remember to remember to fully rinse it out afterwards.

I know, this thread is worthless without pictures. Let me upload some and edit...

I used mine yesterday for the first time as well. Worked the bees knees!

I have driven mine in rain and other crud so there was NO way that just spraying it on was going to do the job. It worked VERY well though.

I would like to see Adams offer blank spray bottles for us. I had to use my Eagle one bottle and write the name on it. Totally trailer but it works...

Good video!

I think this is the stuff to get 'regular owners' hooked on Adam's.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

Most of the folks on here that have cars they show, DD's and garage queens, mention that the first Adam's products they used was the Detail Spray, then their addiction grew from there (Detail Spray as a 'gateway drug', hmmm). I think the GWC may do the same thing with folks that are just regular owners looking for a way to keep their DD's looking nice. <o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

I received my GWC order last Friday and a friend stopped by to deliver my Arizona Iced Tea order (he is a driver for them and hooks me up). While he was in the house talking with my wife, I thought his very dirty (brake dust, grease, etc.) cast aluminum wheels would be the perfect test for GWC. He couldn't believe how good the wheels looked, and admitted he had tried many OTC products to clean them. He said his son joked that maybe they should just let them go and tell everyone that they painted them black! He has now hit me up twice since then to get him a bottle. I'll be placing his order for the Daily Special when I get to work in the a.m., and get another person on the way to being “addicted to Adam's”!<o:p></o:p>

<o:p></o:p>

BTW, I only have ‘before’ pictures. When he comes to get his order I’ll get ‘after’ pics and post them.

Yep Michael.. GWC is very well going to be another "gateway drug" for Adam's!!!

Some of us have DD's that are show as well with no garage! That is where Adam's is a great asset in the ease of use and the great results it gives!
